My father once told me
About a land across the sea
Without snow and covered in green
Inhabited by the fat and worked by the lean
With kings and queens, and other minor lords too
Gaining weight by eating what the peasants grew
While the poor dine on hopes and dreams
And pray for a windfall- whatever that may mean
He told me never to go
Why? I’ll never know
For I think it is rather nice
